We need to do everything we can to show the voters that this approach leads to chaos and that a more centrist approach will benefit everyone.

CPLU recognizes that today's youth face a challenging environment where truth often seems elusive and even those in positions of power often disregard it. CPLU intends to give them a plan that will examine their unique problems and improve their chances of achieving the American dream.
CPLU strives to properly examine all sides of an issue before analyzing the benefits and drawbacks. By respecting diverse perspectives and seeking moderate solutions, we can work towards common goals and a more united society. Society is a complex organism that changes slowly and is difficult to turn on a dime. Society takes time to adjust. It's not any one person’s fault. It is a function of how large groups of people work.

The CPLU will prioritize Economic Justice for the Underrepresented

Economic Justice for the Underrepresented: The CPLU will advocate for policies that improve the economic well-being of individuals and families in the middle class and those less fortunate financially. The vast majority of Americans are underrepresented and are being almost completely ignored and it's time we put their interests first.
Raising the Minimum Wage: A key focus will be on advocating for a substantial and timely increase in the federal and state minimum wages. We must do this while recognizing the interests of small businesses. Only raises that make economic sense for everyone will be considered.
Tax Reform: The CPLU will actively promote progressive tax policies that ensure a fair and equitable distribution of the tax burden. Billionaires need a healthy economy as much as everyone else does, so they need to feed the economy by giving back a tiny fraction at a time. This is probably the most important issue of our time. Slight modifications in the tax code will greatly change the lives of everyone who isn't a multimillionaire. Multimillionaires will be fine. It will be a challenge, but they will make it and everyone will be happier.
No Taxes on TIPS: Removing this tax helps the Underrepresented. This tax is basically unfair because TIPS can be widely varying while the tax is set, so some people overpay while others underpay.
Health Care Reform: Increase the number of citizens on Medicaid and Medicare while figuring out a publicly funded health care system that the majority of US people would appreciate.
Tax Benefits: Tax Benefits for first time home buyers and for new small businesses owners will help the Underrepresented increase their wealth and benefit society as a whole.

CPLU will Address the Needs of Modern Families

CPLU recognizes the plethora of challenges for modern families, including those with children.

CPLU will lobby for tax laws that are beneficial to young families and help them offset some of the expenses they face everyday.
CPLU advocates subsidies for Pre-K care and after school care.
CPLU advocates for universal school lunch and improved food subsidies. We recognize these subsidies of food for children and families puts money in US farmers and manufacturers pockets, so it can’t be argued that we are giving the money away. We will be subsidizing our Agriculture industry. So it's a win-win situation.
CPLU supports subsidies for after school tutoring, allowing the children of the non-multimillionaires to properly compete with their multimillionaire compatriots.
